At 64cms, this is a very large frame, making this bicycle built for someone over 6 ft Tall. For those that don't know, Cyclops was one of, if not the best bicycle manufacturer at the time in Canada, based on quality and ingenuity. Cyclops began production in Toronto in 1983 and produced bikes that were way ahead of their time. They moved to Vernon BC in the 1990s and continued production until the late 1990s or early 2000s. There were only about 1500 Cyclops bikes ever produced; every bike custom built to the buyers specific wants and needs. They would also paint bikes for customers. Likely less than a few hundred non-cyclops frames were painted as Cyclops. It is all indicated by the sticker on the top tube: "painted by" or "custom built by". This is a true Cyclops, a custom built! This bike is jam packed with history, and I wish I knew the stories that the frame could tell. Crazy large Geometry, and awesome yellow to red to pink paint scheme. Custom built for Jeff Waller in Toronto Canada. Has cool geometry: 64cm seat tube and a 58cm top tube. Rides and fits like a big bike, hope you’re over 6ft Tall! The frame is lugged with True Temper RC 4130 chromoly double butted steel tubing, the strongest tubing available at the time! Has a neat top tube with hidden cable routing.
