This is a 1997 Gardin Professional Racing Bicycle that was made in Mississauga by skilled Italian frame builders. Gardin was one of the best brand names in Canadian cycling back in the 1980s-1990s and several Gardins were ridden in the Olympics by athletes such as Curt Harnett. This is the last of the steel frames, as in the 1990s bicycle companies were looking for other materials such as alloy and carbon to build bicycles. This is truly a great piece if you are looking for a Canadian vintage racing bike with Italian style, quality, and heritage.
