Marinoni is one of Canada's best bike builders. He has his own documentary which I highly suggest giving a watch. Every bike was hand crafted in Montreal, with love and attention to detail! This little Marinoni is a particularly rare bike, very few of these junior sized bikes were ever made, and they were actually more costly than an adult bike as custom small size building materials and parts were needed. This bike was built for a very wealthy family in 1982 and in the late 1980s it was re-equipped with modern current parts from that time period. Marinoni is always very helpful when it comes to looking up useful serial # info. In the case of this bike, the serial number is: 2S44A. 2 for 1982 S for stock size, 44 for the size of the frame and A as it was the first one made.
